For those who missed it, here’s the video of the “Omnikrom’s playlist @ MusiquePlus”. You’ll see which clip made the cut. In case you don’t know, we were asked to select 15-20 clips (some must be recent) then the M+ crew make a selection with that. I was a bit disapointed that the Michael Jackson and Bone Thugs clips didn’t made it but some of them had to.
Nice video featuring Spike Jonze and Maurice Sendak talking about the adaptation of Sendak’s book, “Where the wild things are” by Mr. Jonze.

Mishka just released their tenth installment of the “Keep Watch” mixes and they decided to ask Major Laser to do that mix. So we’re please to have a Diplo & Switch mixtape and let’s not forget that they also did a limited run t-shirt to go with it.
Here’s the link to download the free mixtape. You can see the tracklisting and images of the tee (and link to buy it) after the jump.
Really nice. By Naomi Thellier de Poncheville

Wow! The sequel to the classic TRON movie from 1982. I think it’s gonna be really nice and the soundtrack is by none others than Daft Punk.

Our friends from New Ravers On The Block just released their latest mixtape called “C-Ch-Cha”. Tracks from Harvard Bass, Major Lazer, Nasa, Pony Pony …. some of those tracks are NROTB own remix and they’re really good.

Last week I gave you the old school Nas demo tape and this week it’s even better with the Wu-Tang demo tape. Released just 1 year before the classic “36 chambers” it will please all the rugged hiphop fans…if you can pass by the fact that the sound quality is so poor.

The people who follow me on Twitter already knew that I was working on a “special project” and here it is. A tribute to Michael Jackson Mixtape called “On est tous des Jackson”(we all are Jacksons) where I reinvented 5 of his classics.
I kept the original beats to keep most of the flavor of the tracks but the subject and lyrics are different while keeping the original mood.
Michael Jackson was the biggest musical icon and my main influence so this Mixtape is my way to express that. Hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I did doing it.
(special thanks to Beaudet for the mix and Jeremy for the artwork)
Here are the links to download it.

It’s summertime and our good friend the Genevan Heathen is doing a bunch of “beach interviews” with many different artists. For the occasion Dj Raze did a mixtape call ” Summer Vaca with Genevan” featuring summer related tracks.
Guest appearance from Cuizinier, Teki, Omnikrom, So Fresh Squad, Spank rock, Devin the Dude etc. There’s even the “megamix” version of “Swagger” including artists from the original track (Omnikrom and Genevan Heathen) as well as artists from the remix (Cuizinier and Killroy from So Fresh Squad).
